Fringe of the West

I surrendered my back to the therapist to massage me and relieve me of my excruciating pain, on the last day of my vacation in the English countryside. It is true that it is my vacation in which I am supposed to stop writing, but in it I worked 8-10 hours to revise the English version of my book, review it and then contract to publish it and make it available to the public.

The therapist (Greg) greeted me at the door of the health club and talked to me as if he had known me for years. I told him about my country, about the causes of my back pain and about my book that I published the day before his visit. He asked me about the idea of the book, so I told him that I wrote a “Human Manual” that shows us how to use our bodies and our minds. He was very passionate about knowledge, so he asked me: What do you mean, and I answered him seriously and jokingly: I wrote it for people because I find that most of them “do not improve life” .. Greg laughed loudly and said: I agree completely, and then his questions continued about the book, I told him that we will live better if we see the dimensions of our lives The five (our bodies, our money, our social relationships, our inner world and our souls), and I told him that the book provides lenses that enable us to see those dimensions, and suggests tools that enable us to put these five dimensions of our lives in balance, and for the whole hour he rubs my shoulder and my back and I rub his ear to him. Our modern life system has transformed us from human beings into machines, some of us looking for money and some looking for fun, so I asked at the beginning of my book “The Five Balances”: Does permanent pleasure exist? And I said that pleasure with its elaborate design is part of mastering this universe, so if we want to increase it with food for our disease, and if we want to increase it by drinking wine, we give up our minds that make us human, and return to being equal with beasts, and because pleasure controls 95% of our direct and indirect actions, according to a study reviewed On it, here I ask: Do the fleeting moments of pleasure deserve to be a target for us that dominates most of our actions? I used to sit often at the same table writing, chatting with those who serve me and liking them, and when they ask me what I write? Those were my chats, and the next day I find them talking again with more questions, so I leave writing and answer their questions, have mercy on their marginality and their distance from the deep meanings of life. Western life makes them toil all week, and when the weekend comes they do what they want, dance and stay up but it It did not give them a single meaning for their existence alive. My last day in this countryside, my wife came late to share breakfast with me, and I found the blonde worker, who usually brings me coffee, standing carrying heavy dishes next to my table discussing me, I tried to end the event so that my wife would not be upset, and I told her that the dishes are heavy, and that our conversation is in the book, But she repeated and repeated her request with her desire to present her opinion in my book, and after her insistence, I gave her the e-mail to leave, and my wife gave me what God had opened for her of good speech.
